Laser Technician, CNC & Diamond Manufacturing
Overview
Own the operation and process development of CNC laser systems supporting high-priority R&D and production samples at scale. Work with process engineers to standardize new diamond manufacturing techniques and transfer processes to production. Contribute to continuous improvements and maintain GMP-like manufacturing practices in a fast-growing, equity-focused company. This role blends hands-on CNC work with cross-functional collaboration in a high-tech environment.
What You'll Do5
- 1Build and run laser CNC systems to cut samples for process development and production
- 2Collaborate with process engineers to evaluate, standardize, and support new processes
- 3Assist in writing SOPs and training technicians to release new processes
- 4Support and maintain high-quality manufacturing processes and continuous improvements
- 5Communicate production status and issues promptly to teammates and management
Requirements5
- 1Associate's degree in a technical field, military technical training, or 3+ years of related technical work experience
- 2Ability to perform critical tasks with high accuracy per procedure and use appropriate PPE
- 3Physical ability to stand, kneel, reach, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs
- 4Willingness to work overtime, nights, and weekends to meet production goals
- 5Manufacturing or facilities experience is a plus
