CNA PRN Days, Skilled Nursing & Tuition Reimbursement
Overview
Own patient care at a busy skilled nursing facility with a focus on comfort and daily living assistance for geriatric residents. You will join a supportive team on the day shift 6AM to 6PM and participate in tuition reimbursement toward a nursing program. The role includes on the job training tailored to your experience and growth goals. What You'll Do10
- 1Answer residents call lights and respond with timely care
- 2Turn and reposition residents in bed to prevent pressure injuries
- 3Provide physical support for activities of daily living such as bathing dressing and mobility
- 4Review dietary restrictions allergies and preferences to ensure proper meals
- 5Record intake and output to monitor hydration and nutrition
- 6Report changes in resident condition to nursing staff and document observations
- 7Build relationships with residents to enhance comfort and quality of stay
- 8Support 24/7 geriatric care in a skilled nursing facility
- 9Engage residents in routine activities to promote well being
- 10Participate in ongoing on the job training to meet state and federal long term care requirements

- 1Current CNA certification or willingness to become certified within 120 days of employment
- 2Effective communication with coworkers and residents
- 3Willingness to learn local state and federal long term care laws and regulations
