What You'll Do10
- 1Answer residents' call lights and assess needs
- 2Turn and reposition residents in bed
- 3Provide assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- 4Monitor and document dietary restrictions, allergies, and preferences
- 5Record food and liquid intake and output
- 6Report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
- 7Support residents during meals and activities
- 8Assist with toileting and incontinence care
- 9Maintain safety and cleanliness of resident areas
- 10Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members
Requirements5
- 1An active CNA Certification in good standing issued by the state of Utah
- 2Effective communication with residents, family members, and staff
- 3Ability to make independent decisions when warranted
- 4Knowledge of medical and nursing practices and procedures
- 5Thorough understanding of local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to long term care
