What You'll Do10
- 1Answer resident call lights and assess needs
- 2Turn and reposition residents to promote comfort and prevent complications
- 3Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility
- 4Review dietary restrictions and preferences to ensure appropriate meals
- 5Record fluid and food intake and output accurately
- 6Communicate changes in resident condition to nursing staff
- 7Provide physical support during transfers and mobility tasks
- 8Support residents in functional activities and exercise under supervision
- 9Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful environment
- 10Document care provided and contribute to care planning with the team
Requirements10
- 1Active Utah CNA Certification in good standing
- 2Strong interpersonal communication with residents, families, and staff
- 3Ability to make independent decisions when warranted
- 4Knowledge of medical and nursing practices and procedures
- 5Understanding of local, state, and federal long-term care regulations
- 6Ability to read and follow dietary guidelines and care plans
- 7Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and stand or walk for extended periods
- 8Commitment to first 90 days and eligibility for tuition reimbursement program
- 9Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills
