Overview
You will own the cleaning, assembly, testing, and packaging of precision customer parts at a manufacturing facility in San Francisco. Master cleanroom protocols and operate bake-out systems to dry parts after wet cleaning. Handle stainless steel, aluminum, copper, quartz, ceramic, and titanium components. Support daily production goals while keeping the environment spotless and safe. This role offers a transition to a stable second-shift schedule after training.
What You'll Do7
- 1Run bake-out processes to dry customer parts after wet cleaning.
- 2Clean parts using approved methods, including IPA wipes when specified.
- 3Assemble, test, clean, mark, and package customer products per work instructions and SOPs.
- 4Handle components made of stainless steel, aluminum, copper, quartz, ceramic, titanium, bronze, and anodized aluminum.
- 5Inspect and package parts to ensure protection and final seal before shipment.
- 6Maintain a clean, organized, and safe cleanroom environment through routine housekeeping.
- 7Follow all quality, safety, and cleanroom procedures while hitting daily production targets.
Requirements8
- 11+ years in manufacturing, with cleanroom or semiconductor experience preferred.
- 2Ability to follow detailed work instructions, specifications, prints, and SOPs.
- 3Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- 4Basic computer and cell phone skills for data recording and communication.
- 5Effective communication and teamwork.
- 6Experience packaging metal parts or working with stainless steel, aluminum, copper, nickel, or anodized metals (preferred).
- 7Willingness to wear cleanroom PPE, including steel-toed boots, safety glasses, and hearing protection for extended periods.
- 8Availability to work rotating shifts during training, then transition to a second shift schedule.
