What You'll Do8
- 1Develop and execute financial strategies to complete Series B and Series C fundraising, including investor relations and term sheet negotiation.
- 2Drive cash flow forecasting and burn rate optimization to extend runway to 24 months, using QuickBooks and Excel models.
- 3Lead monthly and quarterly Board reporting, tracking ARR, CAC, LTV, and gross margin with Tableau dashboards.
- 4Implement pricing models and go-to-market strategies that increase ACV by 20% in the first year.
- 5Own the annual budgeting process for growth initiatives, aligning with product and sales team forecasts.
- 6Serve as the primary liaison for investors and debt providers, preparing CAP table analyses and valuation updates.
- 7Ensure regulatory compliance across SEC filings and tax obligations, coordinating with external auditors.
- 8Mentor a team of 5 finance professionals, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
Requirements8
- 110+ years of progressive financial experience, with 3+ years as a CFO or VP Finance in a fintech or B2B startup.
- 2Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; MBA or CPA preferred.
- 3Proven track record of increasing revenue by 30%+ year-over-year.
- 4Hands-on experience with QuickBooks, Excel, and financial modeling.
- 5Experience leading Series A or Series B funding rounds.
- 6Strong understanding of GAAP and IFRS standards.
