Overview
Own the biochemistry analysis workflow for water quality at a Phoenix area lab and contribute to routine environmental testing. Work on biochemical oxygen demand, solids, pH, and related wet chemistry analyses with hands-on data validation. Collaborate with the team to organize projects and meet client timelines at a full-time, onsite facility.
What You'll Do5
- 1Build and run Biochemical Oxygen Demand analysis and other wet chemistry tests with minimal supervision
- 2Record and validate data according to prescribed methods and maintain accurate project organization
- 3Perform Total Suspended Solids and Total Dissolved Solids analyses and ensure quality control
- 4Prepare samples and operate laboratory equipment while adhering to safety standards and chemical handling procedures
- 5Meet holding and client time schedules and support overtime as needed
Requirements5
- 1Bachelor's degree in chemistry or equivalent
- 2Two years of chemistry lab experience or a related credential
- 3Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- 4Comfort working with solvents, acids, bases, and standard solutions
- 5Strong time management, instruction-following, and teamwork skills
