Overview
You will own chemical testing and sample analysis for a growing R&D department, producing precise data for product development. You will operate advanced instruments like ICP-OES, Ion Chromatography, SEM-EDS, and IR spectroscopy, and document findings for technical review. This is a contract-to-hire role in Plant City, FL, with a stable team focused on technical excellence.
What You'll Do10
- 1Prepare, handle, and label chemical samples with accuracy, ensuring clear documentation.
- 2Run analytical tests using ICP-OES, Ion Chromatography, SEM-EDS, and IR spectroscopy.
- 3Apply wet chemistry techniques for quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- 4Perform elemental analysis and material characterization to identify unknown deposits.
- 5Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot analytical instruments to ensure reliable results.
- 6Record experimental data in lab notebooks and digital logs with thorough detail.
- 7Compile findings into structured reports for technical staff review.
- 8Follow SOPs, GLP, and safety protocols during all lab work.
- 9Communicate findings with the R&D team and collaborate on problem-solving.
- 10Support ongoing projects with additional lab and documentation tasks.
Requirements9
- 1Hands-on experience operating ICP-OES for elemental analysis.
