What You'll Do11
- 1Conduct intermediate-level sample preparation and analysis using standard methods such as USP FCC EPA ASTM NIOSH
- 2Operate calibrate and maintain laboratory instrumentation including balance auto titrator LECO TGA CVAA
- 3Analyze interpret data and report findings with accuracy while identifying deviations and escalating issues
- 4Troubleshoot routine equipment malfunctions and analytical anomalies
- 5Maintain documentation per SOPs and QA/QC requirements
- 6Adhere to safety procedures and promote lab safety practices
- 7Mentor entry-level staff and participate in audits quality reviews
- 8Make routine technical decisions within standard procedures
- 9Refer complex issues to supervisor or senior staff
- 10Apply judgment to troubleshoot analytical problems and refine procedures
- 11Assist in improving lab efficiency
Requirements9
- 1Associates or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry Biology Environmental Science Materials Science or related field
- 22-4 years laboratory experience in technical or analytical environment
- 3Prior experience operating instruments and interpreting data sets
- 4Strong understanding of procedures and safety practices
- 5Ability to follow SOPs and regulatory methods such as NIOSH ASTM EPA
- 6Competence in troubleshooting routine issues and performing maintenance
- 7Effective written and verbal communication skills
- 8Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- 9Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience with LIMS
