Junior Lab Analyst
Overview
We seek a Junior Lab Analyst to support laboratory testing and scientific research at Linq Global Group in Thompson TN. This contract role offers $20 per hour on a W2 basis for three months. The position involves hands-on laboratory work focusing on biological and chemical analysis.
What You'll Do11
- 1Collect and prepare laboratory samples
- 2Perform biological and chemical analyses according to protocols
- 3Conduct experiments and document results
- 4Execute PCR testing and culture plating
- 5Utilize Petrifilm and anaerobic plating methods
- 6Follow aseptic techniques and contamination prevention
- 7Maintain accurate records using Excel Word ELN and LIMS
- 8Prepare comprehensive test result reports
- 9Perform routine equipment maintenance and safety checks
- 10Troubleshoot laboratory instruments
- 11Adhere to ISO 17025 quality standards
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor degree in Biology Chemistry Microbiology or related field
- 22-3 years laboratory experience
- 3Hands-on PCR technology experience
- 4Knowledge of ISO 17025 standards
- 5Proficiency with Petrifilm culture plating and anaerobic plating
- 6Expertise in aseptic techniques and contamination control
- 7Familiarity with ELN and LIMS systems
- 8Strong computer skills including Excel Word
- 9Ability to lift 40 pounds
- 10Attention to detail and documentation skills
