Cable Technician Low Voltage
Overview
We are seeking experienced Cable Technicians to perform low voltage cable installation in a commercial setting. This role involves pulling and routing various cables installing support structures and working with structured cabling systems. Immediate opportunities available in Houston Texas.
What You'll Do5
- 1Pulling and routing CAT 5 CAT 6 CAT6A cable in new construction environments
- 2Terminating phone jacks and dressing distribution frames
- 3Installing support structures such as ladders racks and j hooks
- 4Reading and understanding schematic and line diagrams
- 5Maintaining rack and stack work closet work and server rack assembly
Requirements5
- 1Recent experience performing low voltage structured cabling installations in commercial settings
- 2Familiarity with BICSI EIA TIA or NEC standards
- 3Proficiency in rack and stack work closet work and server rack assembly
- 4Fiber experience including anaerobic terminations sc and lc connectors
- 5Ability to use basic telecom tools including punch downs snips wire strippers and cordless drills
Salary Insight
$33 - $62k per year
