We seek a skilled professional to lead low voltage cable installation projects in a commercial setting. This role focuses on pulling and routing various cable types while ensuring high-quality termination and documentation. What You'll Do9

  • 1Pulling and routing CAT 5 CAT 6 CAT6A cable in new construction commercial environments
  • 2Terminating phone jacks and dressing distribution frames
  • 3Installing support structures such as ladders racks and j-hooks
  • 4Maintaining organized rack and closet work practices
  • 5Assembling server racks and patch panels
  • 6Performing anaerobic terminations and splicing connectors
  • 7Reading schematics and line diagrams to guide installations
  • 8Utilizing basic telecom tools including punch downs snips and wire strippers
  • 9Applying proper PPE during all tasks

Requirements7

  • 1Recent experience performing low voltage structured cabling installations in commercial settings
  • 2Familiarity with BICSI EIA TIA or NEC standards
  • 3Proven ability to stack and organize closets and racks
  • 4Strong knowledge of fiber optics including SC and LC connectors
  • 5Experience with splice splicing techniques
  • 6Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • 7Basic telecom tool proficiency
