
Business Analyst, TEA & Federal Projects
Overview
You will own the full business analysis lifecycle for initiatives supporting the Texas Education Agency, aligning with federal compliance and reporting standards. You will bridge program stakeholders and technical teams to shape requirements that drive statewide impact. - 3Facilitate workshops with program leads and subject matter experts to refine scope and acceptance criteria.
- 4Validate solutions against federal compliance standards, ensuring audit readiness.
- 5Bridge communication between business units and technical teams to remove blockers.
- 6Own backlog grooming and prioritization with product owners, delivering increments each sprint.
- 7Lead user acceptance testing with educators and administrators, capturing feedback for iterations.
- 8Track regulatory changes and assess impact on system requirements.
Requirements7
- 15+ years as a Business Analyst on government or federal projects.
- 2Strong knowledge of Texas Education Agency processes and data standards.
- 3Track record delivering SDLC artifacts, including BRDs, FRDs, and traceability matrices.
- 4Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA.
- 5Proven ability to lead stakeholder interviews and requirements workshops.
- 6Must pass criminal background check as required by Texas law.
- 7Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
