Behavioral Health Tech, Overnights at Calvary Healing Center
Overview
Overnight Behavioral Health Technician role supporting inpatient and detoxification programs at a leading behavioral health facility. Owns direct patient care and supervision across PHP and IOP settings in a hospital-like program with a collaborative care model. Work under the Milieu Manager, RN Charge Nurse, and Director of Nursing to maintain a safe, therapeutic milieu. This role offers career development, tuition assistance after 90 days, and access to a broad network within UHS.
What You'll Do5
- 1Build patient care plans under supervision and model appropriate coping strategies
- 2Provide continuous patient supervision and interaction during overnight shifts to ensure safety and engagement
- 3Support clinical team rounds and coordinate with RN Charge Nurse on patient status
- 4Deliver de-escalation and crisis intervention as needed to maintain a calm environment
- 5Document care activities and incident reports to support treatment progression
Requirements7
- 1High School Diploma/GED required
- 2Must be 21 years of age
- 3Preferred one year of experience in psychiatric or behavioral health inpatient setting
- 4Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card
- 5Possession of a Valid Driver`s License and acceptable 39-month driving record
- 6Completion of BLS & First Aid Certification within 30 days of hire
- 7Completion of Handle With Care Training within 30 days of hire
