Overnight Behavioral Health Technician, Community Living & Care
Overview
Own the overnight care plan for residents in a behavioral health community and ensure a compliant, therapeutic milieu at scale. You will model positive behavior, mentor new staff, and monitor medication administration under policy. Join a team focused on dignity, independence, and individualized treatment throughout the night shift.
What You'll Do6
- 1Build and maintain overnight logs with accurate resident records and ITPs
- 2Supervise residents in personal hygiene, homemaking, cooking, and house cleaning to support independent living
- 3Monitor medication self-administration under psychiatrist direction and report progress as primary staff
- 4Develop interpersonal skills and facilitate home recreation to enhance therapeutic milieu
- 5Provide training to new BHTs and assist with administrative duties
- 6Perform routine bed checks, morning and evening med passes, and ensure environmental compliance
Requirements6
- 1Must be at least 21 years old
- 2Associate degree in social services or high school diploma with at least 1 year of behavioral health experience
- 3Ability to work overnight hours 20-40 per week
- 4Fingerprints clearance
- 5CPR/First Aid (preferred)
- 6Ability to commute to Phoenix, AZ 85085
