Behavior Therapist - ABA Therapy (Entry Level)
Overview
You will teach verbal, social, and educational behaviors to children, teens, and young adults with Autism and related disabilities. You will work in home and community settings under the guidance of BCBA clinicians. Creative Solutions for Hope provides paid training, supervision, and career growth. What You'll Do8
- 1Implement ABA therapy programs designed by BCBA supervisors.
- 2Teach verbal, social, and educational skills to clients in home and community settings.
- 3Collect data on client progress during each session and report to the clinical team.
- 4Engage clients in play-based and instructional activities to promote skill acquisition.
- 5Collaborate with families and team members to ensure consistent implementation of behavior plans.
- 6Maintain a safe and productive therapy environment, adhering to safety protocols.
- 7Use technology, including iPad and computer, to access and update client data.
- 8Attend and participate in team meetings and ongoing training sessions.
Requirements8
- 118+ years of age.
- 2High School Diploma or equivalent, or currently enrolled in college courses.
- 3Valid California driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and auto insurance with your name on the policy.
- 4Experience with technology, including computer and iPad.
- 5Availability on weekdays, with afternoon and evening hours preferred (2-3 days between 3pm and 8pm).
- 6Pass a Livescan background check and TB test.
- 7Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and perform physical activities like standing, bending, and kneeling.
- 8Strong verbal and written communication in English.
