What You'll Do5
- 1Provide direct ABA instruction following the educational plan from the BCBA
- 2Participate in collaborative team meetings with the BCBA and other behavior therapists
- 3Communicate daily with families, offering debriefs and home strategies for consistency
- 4Collect daily data and organize the child's program book weekly
- 5Maintain confidentiality per State and Federal regulations
Requirements10
- 12+ years working with special needs children ages 2-21 in a supervised setting
- 2Successful completion of or current enrollment in an undergraduate/graduate program in psychology, healthcare, human services, education, or related field
- 3Experience using ABA preferred
- 4Successful completion of 20-hour classroom training and passing competency exam
- 5Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- 6Excellent communication skills with children, family members, and supervisors
- 7Passionate about helping children and families
- 8Comfortable working in a home-based setting
- 9Able to travel to assigned cases via personal vehicle, walking, or public transit
- 10Able to climb stairs, lift 10 pounds regularly, and sit on the floor, kneel, or crawl
