What You'll Do7
- 1Implement ABA therapy programs 1:1 with children, turning lesson plans into engaging activities that target communication, social, and daily living skills.
- 2Collect and document behavioral data during each session using a company-issued iPad, ensuring accurate tracking of progress and goal achievement.
- 3Communicate with caregivers to coach them on ABA strategies, empowering them to reinforce learning at home.
- 4Collaborate with BCBAs to adjust programs based on client needs and data trends.
- 5Maintain a safe and supportive environment during home visits, adapting to each child's unique needs.
- 6Complete 90-day training to master ABA techniques and gain hands-on experience.
- 7Drive to client homes within the assigned region, managing your schedule to ensure punctual sessions.
Requirements7
- 160 college units with 1 year of supervised experience in early intervention, OR 60 units including 12 units in a related field (Psychology, Child Development, Special Education, Education) with 6 months of child experience, OR a Bachelor's degree in a related field with 6 months of child experience.
- 221 years or older due to insurance requirements.
- 3Valid California Driver's License or active military/military dependent status.
- 4Reliable vehicle and valid auto insurance.
- 5Ability to work with children with developmental delays and autism in home settings.
- 6Strong documentation skills for accurate data collection.
- 7Willingness to obtain BCBA supervision and follow ABA protocols.
