BCBA, Pediatric ABA in NYC & NJ - Part Time & Contract Roles
Overview
A BCBA will lead pediatric ABA programs across home, school and clinic settings in the NYC metro area and surrounding regions. The role involves assessments, treatment planning, caregiver collaboration, supervision of therapists, and data driven program adjustments. This role emphasizes ethical standards, clinical integrity, and social significance of outcomes.
What You'll Do10
- 1Assess children with ASD and develop goals and treatment plans with caregivers
- 2Design behavior intervention plans
- 3Create functional, observable, and measurable goals for therapists and caregivers
- 4Provide direct supervision of therapists at least 10% of cases with behavioral skills training and feedback
- 5Review session notes, analyze data, and implement data driven program changes
- 6Ensure progress generalizes with active caregiver participation through training and communication
- 7Conduct reassessments at least twice per year and summarize progress for each client
- 8Maintain regular communication with parents and office staff
- 9Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and state/federal regulations
- 10Ensure programs are socially significant, functional, and promote independence and happiness
Requirements10
- 1Master’s Degree in Behavior Analysis or related field
- 2BCBA and LBA required
- 3Minimum of one year of ABA client supervision
- 4Passion for ABA and working with children, families, and therapists
- 5Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- 6Ability to travel to assigned cases and commute via personal vehicle or public transport
- 7Physical ability to lift 10 pounds, sit on the floor, crawl or kneel as needed
- 8Self-motivated, team oriented, patient and professional
- 9Starting compensation discussed during interview
