Banquet Steward, Hospitality Operations
Overview
As a Banquet Steward you will own the cleanliness and readiness of banquet and kitchen areas at scale across events. You will manage equipment, support setup and breakdown, and ensure a safe, organized environment for guest experiences. You will collaborate with the banquet team and other hotel staff to maintain smooth event operations and sanitation standards. This role offers hands-on operation support and opportunities to contribute to high-profile events at Caesars Republic Scottsdale.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and maintain banquet and kitchen cleanliness and organization for events
- 2Wash, organize, and store banquet equipment and dishware
- 3Assist in setting up and breaking down banquet areas including tables, chairs, and equipment
- 4Monitor inventory of banquet supplies and report needs to management
- 5Support the banquet team to ensure timely and efficient service during events
- 6Follow all food safety guidelines to maintain a clean, safe environment
- 7Assist in maintaining an organized storage area for banquet equipment
- 8Take on additional duties as assigned to support smooth hotel operations
- 9Ensure areas are ready for guest service at the start and end of events
- 10Collaborate with team to uphold high service standards during busy periods
Requirements6
- 1Previous experience as a steward or in a similar role is preferred
- 2Ability to lift, push, and carry items up to 50 pounds
- 3Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- 4Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- 5Team-player attitude with a commitment to excellent service
- 6Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
