Banquet Houseperson, Hospitality Support & Event Setup
Overview
The Banquet Houseperson will own the setup, maintenance, and teardown of banquet and event spaces at The Confluence Hotel, Hastings MN, supporting guest experiences at scale. This role collaborates with banquet staff to ensure spaces are ready, safe, and welcoming. You will contribute to a culture of service, teamwork, and attention to detail in a historic hotel setting.
What You'll Do7
- 1Build and execute setup and breakdown of banquet events including tables, chairs, linens, and equipment
- 2Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas before during and after events
- 3Support banquet staff with service related tasks as needed
- 4Ensure event spaces are prepared according to specifications and safety standards
- 5Respond promptly to guest or staff requests during events
- 6Monitor inventory of supplies and report needs to management
- 7Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies and procedures
Requirements7
- 1Previous experience in hospitality event setup or related roles preferred
- 2Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- 3Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment
- 4Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- 5Physical stamina to lift move and position furniture and equipment
- 6Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as required
- 7Positive attitude and professional appearance
