Banquet Server, Food & Beverage at BlueStar Resort & Golf
Overview
Own guest service for events at a luxury resort with multiple venues and outdoor spaces. You will help set up events, greet guests, take and relay orders, and ensure hospitality standards. You’ll work with a team led by the Banquet Captain in a fast-paced environment and contribute to memorable guest experiences. This role offers part-time hours with opportunities for growth and benefits for eligible team members.
What You'll Do10
- 1Set up banquet rooms for events and assist as needed
- 2Greet guests and provide energetic, friendly service
- 3Relay food and beverage orders to kitchen and bar staff
- 4Learn event layout, stations, and menu specifics to answer guest questions
- 5Serve and clear courses following established etiquette and safety procedures
- 6Communicate guest needs to the team and support Banquet Captain with coordination
- 7Maintain food safety and sanitation standards and report issues to supervisors
- 8Assist with hosting duties and ensure a clean, welcoming atmosphere
- 9Collaborate with teammates to deliver exceptional event experiences
- 10Support additional duties as assigned by management
Requirements10
- 1High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- 2One to three months’ related server experience preferred
- 3Must meet state and federal age requirements for serving alcohol
- 4Current Food Handlers Card and TIPS Certification
- 5Basic math for discounts and percentages
- 6Ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests
- 7Detail-oriented with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- 8Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- 9Strong teamwork and customer service orientation
- 10Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds
