Overview
Automotive Mechanic position at Mavis Tire family, serving Orlando area. You will inspect, diagnose, and perform undercar repairs including brakes, suspension, and tires for a high-volume retail service center. You will conduct state inspections, oil changes, fluid checks, part replacements, and tire dismounting and balancing. This role supports career growth within a nationwide tire and automotive service network.
What You'll Do5
- 1Build and diagnose undercar systems to repair brakes, suspensions, and tires and ensure road-ready condition within 90 days
- 2Replace worn parts, change oil and filters, check fluids, and perform state inspections to meet regulatory standards
- 3Rotate and balance tires, remount wheels, and calibrate alignment where needed
- 4Perform preventive maintenance and customer-facing recommendations to extend vehicle life
- 5Adhere to safety procedures and quality standards while maintaining clean, organized work bays
Requirements5
- 1Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States
- 2Provide 2 years of automotive repair and maintenance experience or equivalent training
- 3Bring an extensive personal tool set for undercar repair
- 4State inspection license(s) and ASE Certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5) are preferred
- 5Stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, lift items over 50 pounds and perform repetitive movements during shifts
