Overview
Automotive Mechanics inspect diagnose and perform a wide range of undercar repairs including brakes struts and shocks at Mavis Tires & Brakes. You will also handle state inspections oil changes fluid checks and tire mounting balancing and rotations. What You'll Do8
- 1Build and inspect vehicles to diagnose issues and perform undercar repairs
- 2Change oil and filters check fluids replace worn parts and perform routine maintenance
- 3Dismount mount rotate and balance tires and ensure proper wheel alignment
- 4Complete state mandated vehicle inspections and document outcomes
- 5Assist customers and collaborate with team to deliver high quality service
- 6Adhere to safety standards and maintain a clean organized workspace
- 7Manage tools and equipment and update job notes for service records
- 8Support technicians during complex repair tasks and learn advanced diagnostics
Requirements6
- 1at least 18 years old
- 2legally authorized to work in the United States
- 32 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance
- 4extensive personal toolbox of automotive tools
- 5physical ability to stand walk bend kneel crouch crawl and lift items over 50 pounds
- 6state inspection license and/or ASE certifications (preferred)
Salary Insight
$40 - $80k per year
