Automotive Mechanic, Undercar Repair & Tire Service
Overview
Own undercar repairs at scale across a large network of auto service centers. Inspect, diagnose, and perform brake, suspension, and tire services for customers in Charlotte NC. Complete state inspections, oil changes, and tire mounting balancing while maintaining safety and quality standards. This role sits on a growth path within a nationwide tire and repair network focused on customer satisfaction.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and perform undercar repairs including brakes, struts, and shocks with quality and safety in mind
- 2Inspect and diagnose vehicles to determine service needs and provide transparent recommendations
- 3Change oil and filters, check fluids, and replace worn parts to maintain vehicle reliability
- 4Dismount, mount, rotate, and balance tires to ensure wear evenness and road performance
- 5Complete state inspections and ensure compliance with regulations
- 6Maintain a clean, organized work area and assist with customer communication
- 7Assist with shop processes and timesaving procedures to improve service delivery
- 8Adhere to safety policies, wear PPE, and handle tools and equipment properly
- 9Participate in on-the-job training and career development opportunities
- 10Support a team environment and contribute to achieving weekly pay and incentive targets
Requirements9
- 121 year old minimum and legal authorization to work in the United States
- 22 years of automotive repair or related training/experience demonstrating ability to perform duties
- 3Extensive personal toolbox for undercar repairs
- 4Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, reach, and perform repetitive movements
- 5Lift and move items weighing over 50 pounds regularly
- 6Preferred: state inspection license(s) and ASE Certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), Brakes (A5)
- 7Willingness to work a full-time schedule including weekends as needed
- 8Strong customer service orientation and teamwork mindset
- 9Attention to safety, quality workmanship, and completion of required tasks on time
