Automotive Mechanic, Undercar Repairs & Inspections
Overview
Own and perform a wide range of undercar services at scale for customers in Tomball TX. You will inspect diagnose and repair brakes suspensions and tire-related services while completing state inspections and maintaining high quality standards. What You'll Do9
- 1Build and perform brakes struts and shocks service and other undercar repairs on customer vehicles
- 2Design and execute state inspections and maintenance tasks ensuring safety and compliance
- 3Ship tire mounting balancing and rotation while inspecting wear and replacing worn components
- 4Own oil changes fluid checks and preventative maintenance to extend vehicle life
- 5Drive high quality workmanship with attention to safety and quality control measures
- 6Collaborate with teammates in a fast paced store environment to meet repair timelines
- 7Lead customer communication on service needs and recommended maintenance
- 8Debug and diagnose vehicle issues using standard automotive tools and equipment
- 9Scale repair operations by following standardized procedures and documenting work performed
Requirements5
- 1Be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
- 2Possess 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance or equivalent
- 3Have an extensive personal toolbox for undercar repairs
- 4Preferred: state inspection license(s) and ASE Certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1) Suspension and Steering (A4) and Brakes (A5)
- 5Ability to stand walk bend kneel stoop crouch crawl climb and perform repetitive movements and lift items over 50 pounds
