Automotive Assistant & Service Manager, Tire & Auto Service Center
Overview
Lead a shop as part of a national tire and automotive services network at a Cypress TX location. Oversee both automotive service and tire sales operations with a focus on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. You will manage technicians, coordinate work orders, and drive service quality at scale within a multi-brand family. This role blends people leadership with hands-on service delivery and career growth within a trusted automotive leader.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build a high-performing service and tire sales team by assigning work, monitoring quality, and ensuring timely completion of jobs
- 2Enable excellent customer experiences by assessing needs, communicating options, and ensuring satisfaction while driving repeat business
- 3Direct workflow for Mechanics and Tire Technicians to optimize throughput and maintain high repair standards
- 4Lead daily shop operations including safety compliance, inventory management, and outside orders to support service delivery
- 5Own performance metrics for service quality, cycle times, and customer satisfaction within the Cypress store
- 6Drive sales initiatives through upsells, promotions, and effective product recommendations
- 7Collaborate with Store Manager to enforce policies and standards, schedule technicians, and manage customer escalations
- 8Ship high-quality under-car repairs and maintenance work with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
- 9Monitor labor utilization and shop efficiency to maximize profitability while maintaining safety
- 10Coordinate with vendors and support teams to ensure timely parts availability and order fulfillment
Requirements3
- 118+ years of age
- 2Legally authorized to work in the United States
- 31 year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, or 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance, or any combination demonstrating the ability to perform duties
Salary Insight
$40 - $65k per year
