Automotive Assistant Manager & Service Manager, Tire Kingdom & Mavis Tires
Overview
Own the guest experience and service workflow at a high-volume automotive center with scale across a national tire and repair network. Lead technicians, manage customer interactions, and ensure safe, quality work. Collaborate with the Store Manager to implement policies and drive service metrics. This role blends people leadership, operations, and sales to deliver outstanding customer satisfaction.
What You'll Do10
- 1Lead daily operations to ensure safe, efficient vehicle repair and timely job completion
- 2Direct technicians and align workflow to meet customer expectations and quality standards
- 3Drive customer conversations to identify needs and present appropriate tire and repair recommendations
- 4Schedule, coach, and evaluate technicians, balancing workloads and ensuring safety compliance
- 5Achieve sales and service goals while upholding store policies and procedures
- 6Coordinate outside orders and inventory to maintain service readiness
- 7Communicate effectively with customers to close gaps in service experience
- 8Monitor work quality and safety performance and implement corrective actions when needed
- 9Partner with Store Manager to optimize staffing and workflows during peak periods
- 10Support onboarding and training to elevate technician skills and product knowledge
Requirements5
- 1Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States
- 21 year of experience or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales or in automotive repairs/maintenance
- 3Any combination of education, training, and experience demonstrating ability to perform duties
- 4Strong communication and customer service skills
- 5Ability to lead and supervise technicians and drive service outcomes
Salary Insight
$40 - $65k per year
