What You'll Do13
- 1Detect and assess problems resolve debug troubleshoot and provide solutions to automated systems robotic malfunctions and reliability issues
- 2Work independently with minimal direction to determine and implement corrective actions on equipment and processes
- 3Ensure proper safety procedures are always in use and followed
- 4Perform equipment start ups and shutdowns modifications and upgrades on all automation systems
- 5Respond in a timely manner to all issues to ensure productivity and efficiency of automated systems
- 6Provide technical support to improve equipment operations and performance
- 7Maintain all production equipment in good clean and functioning condition
- 8Apply appropriate preventative maintenance methods in planned and unplanned maintenance requests
- 9Understand and analyze interactions between all components and systems mechanical servo robotic electrical
- 10Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean orderly fashion
- 11Understand the operation and troubleshooting of programmable logic controllers servo drives vision systems laser marking systems
- 12Assist in implementation of new equipment and sub assembly systems
- 13Work cooperatively with the Manufacturing team on other projects as assigned by manager
Requirements12
- 1Associate degree in mechatronics factory automation robotics or similar field or equivalent experience
- 2Minimum three years experience working with automated systems mechanical electrical and/or robotic technical maintenance
- 3Basic PLC understanding and troubleshooting Allen Bradley Studio 5000 (preferred) or equivalent ladder logic programming
- 4Basic robotic knowledge understanding of functions and programming Epson FANUC UR or similar
- 5Experience with 3D and 2D modeling systems CREO Parametric Solidworks AutoCAD Inventor AutoCAD
- 6Ability to communicate with Manufacturing management engineers and technicians
- 7Demonstrated technical aptitude and a strong desire for continuous improvement
- 8Strong attention to detail
- 9Sharp hearing and ability to discern tones at various levels
- 10Physical ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds without assistance
- 11Must be able to wear safety glasses latex gloves and safety shoes as required
