Own and execute vehicle prep tasks for cosmetic paintwork at scale in a high-tech center. Operate sanding, masking, taping, bagging, and buffing to ready vehicles for paint. What You'll Do9
- 1Build and prepare vehicles for cosmetic paintwork including sanding, masking, taping, bagging, and buffing to ensure flawless finishes
- 2Design and set up prep steps to meet paint specs and production timelines
- 3Lead quality checks on prep work to minimize rework and support on-time vehicle delivery
- 4Ship vehicles through the prep process with attention to safety and efficiency
- 5Own the documentation of prep tasks and communicate status to the team
- 6Scale prep throughput during peak demand while maintaining consistent quality
- 7Drive safety standards and proper use of PPE in a production environment
- 8Mentor new teammates during training periods to accelerate ramp time
- 9Collaborate with Paint Prepper and Painter roles to optimize handoffs
Requirements5
- 1Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver\'s license
- 2Able to lift up to 60 pounds and operate vehicle equipment and tools
- 3Minimum 6 months of professional automotive prepping experience
- 4Ability to work mandatory overtime as business needs require
- 5Comfort in a fast-paced production environment with variable weather conditions
