Experienced Auto Painter, Base Coats & Clear Coats | Carvana Paint Team

What You'll Do10
- 1Build and apply base coats and clear coats to vehicles to achieve consistent color and finish
- 2Blend adjacent panels to ensure seamless color matching and high-quality results
- 3Perform paint corrections and refinishing to restore factory-like appearance
- 4Inspect painted surfaces for defects and rework as needed to meet quality standards
- 5Collaborate with Prep/Body teams to prepare vehicles for topcoat application
- 6Maintain and calibrate spray equipment and booths to ensure optimal performance
- 7Follow safety protocols and equipment maintenance schedules to minimize downtime •
- 8Document finishing processes and color codes for traceability
- 9Support overtime requirements to meet production deadlines
- 10Participate in on-site training and development programs to advance painting skills
Requirements10
- 1Minimum 5 years of professional automotive painting experience
- 2Strong proficiency in applying base coats tri-coats metallic and solid finishes and clear coats
- 3Experience blending panels and performing paint corrections on finished vehicles
- 4Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and operate vehicle equipment safely
- 5Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license
- 6Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and tolerate weather exposure
- 7Willingness to work mandatory overtime based on business needs
- 8ASE or tool reimbursement programs preferred
- 9Must be able to read write speak and understand English
- 10Background check and MVR may be required
