Auto Painter Helper, Collision Center & Hands-on Paint Prep
Overview
Own the prep phase of the auto painting process in a high-volume collision shop serving OEM standards. You will support the Auto Painter to ready vehicles, sand and buff surfaces, and maintain the paint booth for consistent workflow at scale. You will work with state-of-the-art equipment and participate in factory-standard training to grow within the shop. What You'll Do5
- 1Build prep work for painting by sanding, buffing, and masking to OEM standards
- 2Design and maintain a clean, safe paint booth and workspace to ensure consistent flow
- 3Assist the Auto Painter to repair vehicles thoroughly and safely
- 4Ship components and tools between stations to keep the production line moving
- 5Drive quality and accuracy by following Caliber and OEM guidelines during prep tasks
Requirements5
- 11+ years of experience in paint operations within a collision center
- 2Be at least 18 years of age
- 3Have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under Caliber’s insurance policy
- 4Ability to perform physical activities including lifting over 50 lbs and frequent bending
- 5Good understanding of written and verbal instructions
