As an Auto Painter Helper, you will prepare vehicles for painting, working alongside the Auto Painter to ensure workflow. What You'll Do8
- 1Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding and buffing surfaces.
- 2Maintain the paint booth and workspace to ensure a clean and organized environment.
- 3Support the Auto Painter in daily tasks to ensure efficient workflow.
- 4Repair vehicles thoroughly and safely in accordance with Caliber and OEM standards.
- 5Use 3M Collision Repair Products and other state-of-the-art equipment.
- 6Prioritize competing tasks and adapt to a fast-paced production environment.
- 7Follow written and verbal instructions to complete assigned tasks.
- 8Perform physical activities including reaching, kneeling, bending, squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
Requirements7
- 11+ years of experience in paint operations within a collision center.
- 2Be at least 18 years of age.
- 3Hold a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under Caliber’s insurance policy.
- 4Ability to perform consistent physical activity, including reaching below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
- 5Understand written and verbal instructions.
- 6Prioritize competing tasks and adapt easily to a fast-paced environment.
- 7Previous collision experience or Collision Vo-Tech certification is a plus.
