Audio Visual Project Lead, A/V Systems & Networking
Overview
Audio/Visual Project Lead at JL Entertainment Designs will own field operations for premium residential and commercial installations at scale. You will lead projects from kickoff to completion while serving as the technical lead on site. You’ll work with clients, builders, designers, and technicians to ensure high quality outcomes and timely delivery. This role blends hands-on installation work with project oversight to maintain JL standards and client satisfaction.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and manage residential and commercial A/V projects from kickoff through completion
- 2Coordinate schedules with clients, builders, designers, and technicians
- 3Review project proposals, drawings, and equipment prior to installation
- 4Order, track, and verify project materials
- 5Monitor project timelines, labor, budgets, and change orders
- 6Lead installation teams and provide technical guidance on job sites
- 7Install, configure, and troubleshoot A/V, networking, surveillance, and automation systems
- 8Perform final quality control inspections and client walkthroughs
- 9Train and mentor technicians while maintaining JL installation standards
- 10Maintain clear project documentation and communicate updates with leadership, clients, builders, designers, and technicians
Requirements8
- 1Minimum 4-5 years of experience in custom A/V, low-voltage, networking, or home automation
- 2Previous project management or lead technician experience preferred
- 3Strong knowledge of residential and commercial networking
- 4Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- 5Strong organizational and time management abilities
- 6Outstanding communication and customer service skills
- 7Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- 8Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
