Senior AV Installation Technician
Overview
Lead and execute residential and commercial AV installations for a top-tier smart home integrator. Deliver exceptional customer experiences through expert craftsmanship and cutting-edge technology. Work with Control4, Crestron, and URC systems in a dynamic field role. Mentor junior technicians and drive project success from start to finish.
What You'll Do8
- 1Lead installation of audio/video systems including home theaters, distributed audio, and control systems
- 2Read and interpret system designs, blueprints, and wiring schematics
- 3Install and terminate cabling (Cat6, fiber, speaker wire)
- 4Build racks, configure equipment, and calibrate systems
- 5Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site
- 6Train and mentor junior technicians to elevate team performance
- 7Ensure projects meet Gramophone quality standards and deadlines
- 8Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Requirements7
- 15+ years of AV installation experience
- 2Strong knowledge of Control4, Crestron, and URC control systems
- 3Experience with rack building, cable management, and system commissioning
- 4Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- 5Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- 6Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- 7Valid driver's license and clean driving record
