Associate Project Manager - Tomorrow Water
Overview
Tomorrow Water seeks an Associate Project Manager to lead design and construction projects for water treatment facilities. This onsite role in Anaheim offers hands‑on ownership of scheduling procurement and vendor management. Candidates with 3+ years experience in construction engineering or architecture are invited to join a dynamic cleantech team focused on delivering clean water solutions.
What You'll Do17
- 1Work alongside Project Managers to manage designs and construction projects while monitoring progress procurement and subcontractor and vendor management
- 2Negotiate project costs with suppliers to achieve optimal pricing
- 3Develop scopes of work and prepare Request for Quote packages
- 4Plan logistics to ensure timely efficient contractor completion
- 5Deliver quality projects within agreed time frames and budgets
- 6Interact professionally with clients
- 7Collaborate with Engineering Designers Construction Managers and Admin Team on project tasks
- 8Track and negotiate change orders
- 9Submit RFIs and submittals
- 10Prepare and maintain project schedules
- 11Create organize and distribute bid documents
- 12Coordinate and collect subcontractor and vendor bids for accurate cost estimates
- 13Evaluate bids for materials equipment and supplies to select vendors
- 14Generate purchase orders and track their status
- 15Coordinate equipment and material deliveries for Project Managers
- 16Maintain project documentation according to document control standards including logs for submittals transmittals RFIs and change management
- 17Participate in site visits factory inspections and client meetings as needed
Requirements11
- 1B.S. degree in Engineering Construction Management or Project Management preferred with relevant experience substituting
- 2Minimum of 3 years experience in construction engineering or architecture
- 3Proficiency in Adobe PDF Microsoft Office 365 including Excel Word and Outlook
- 4Strong attention to detail and analytical skills to propose problem solutions
- 5Excellent interpersonal communication abilities across organizational levels
- 6Adaptability to fast‑paced environments
- 7Experience with Procore Timberline and Microsoft Project preferred
- 8Working knowledge of construction industry standards preferred
- 9Results‑oriented with proven ability to organize plan and prioritize work to meet deadlines
- 10High motivation integrity and commitment to team and customer success
