Assistant Store Manager, Retail Operations
Overview
You will own daily store operations, team development, and customer experience at a high-volume Dollar Tree location. Reporting to the Store Manager, you'll coordinate with POS systems, inventory management tools, and scheduling software to drive sales and efficiency. What You'll Do10
- 1Lead store opening and closing procedures, including cash reconciliation and POS reporting
- 2Coordinate merchandise flow from truck to sales floor using inventory tracking tools
- 3Execute corporate directives like Pull and Hold and Task Compliance through Retail Link
- 4Train and coach associates on customer service standards and safety guidelines
- 5Manage weekly scheduling with workforce management software to meet labor budgets
- 6Maintain storefront displays and seasonal layouts per planograms
- 7Process damaged merchandise returns and store credit via return management system
- 8Audit store security systems and cash handling procedures to prevent shrinkage
- 9Drive sales by monitoring sales data and adjusting floor strategies
- 10Ensure cleanliness and organization of sales floor and backroom to company standards
Requirements8
- 11+ year of retail or grocery store management experience
- 2High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 3Ability to lift 55 lbs and stand for 8-hour shifts
- 4Proficiency with Microsoft Office and inventory software
- 5Strong verbal and written communication skills
- 62+ years of cash handling and POS operation
- 7Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
- 8Valid driver's license for bank deposits
