Assistant Project Manager, Electrical Construction Dallas & Plano
Overview
Own project administration for electrical construction at scale within a well established contractor. Lead coordination, procurement, scheduling support, and documentation on diverse healthcare, municipal, industrial, and multi family projects. Collaborate with PMs and field leadership to enable on schedule, on budget project delivery. What You'll Do10
- 1Build and maintain project startup, planning, and closeout activities with PMs
- 2Design and track schedules, documentation, and reporting to ensure on time milestones
- 3Drive material deliveries, subcontractor coordination, and manpower planning to meet project needs
- 4Collaborate with field teams and vendors to remove obstacles and maintain productivity
- 5Support procurement, submittals, RFIs, and change orders to control project scope
- 6Own project files, records, and documentation for audit readiness
- 7Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking to support financial health
- 8Support labor productivity reporting and preparation of project reports and meeting materials
- 9Assist with billing, vendor coordination, and financial administration
- 10Promote safety and compliance by supporting policy adherence and record keeping
Requirements9
- 1Experience in construction or project coordination with strong organizational and communication skills
- 2Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and read construction drawings and specs
- 3Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project documentation
- 4Strong work ethic, accountability, and team orientation
- 5Preferred: Commercial Electrical Construction experience and familiarity with Procore or Bluebeam
- 6Exposure to estimating, procurement, or scheduling is a plus
- 7OSHA 10 Certification is a plus
- 8Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
- 9Degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred or equivalent experience
