What You'll Do9

  • 1Train Product Sales Specialists on customer engagement, product knowledge, and checkout accuracy, starting with daily coaching sessions.
  • 2Run department merchandising, pricing, and signage, auditing every display against current planograms.
  • 3Complete all Product Specialist certification courses and Industrial Truck (forklift) proficiency testing within 30 days.
  • 4Lead the team in safe lifting and material handling, following standard operating procedures for every move.
  • 5Manage customer flow at checkout, processing sales, refunds, and exchanges using the POS system.
  • 6Coordinate inventory receiving and floor restocking, communicating stock needs to management.
  • 7Deliver 'how-to' classes to customers, demonstrating product installation and usage.
  • 8Answer phone calls and greet every customer, ensuring a helpful and courteous experience.
  • 9Validate product placement and pricing across the department, correcting discrepancies immediately.

Requirements7

  • 11+ year of customer service or sales experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2High school diploma or GED.
  • 3Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • 4Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • 5Physical ability to lift up to 60 pounds and stand or walk for extended shifts.
  • 6Willingness to become Industrial Truck (forklift) certified.
  • 7Ability to work store hours, including weekends and evenings.
