Overview

The Assistant Community Manager will support leasing operations, tenant relations, and property visibility at a Phoenix area community. You will assist with applications, renewals, rent collections, and evictions, while promoting resident satisfaction and social media presence. This role works onsite and collaborates with the Community Manager to ensure smooth day-to-day property management and exceptional resident experiences.

What You'll Do10

  • 1Greet prospects and qualify leads using guest cards in the lead management system
  • 2Assist with applications deposits credit checks and history verification and secure manager approval
  • 3Show apartments close leases and prepare move in materials while obtaining signatures
  • 4Manage lease renewals notices and move-outs and update property management software
  • 5Oversee rental collections enforce lease terms track fees and initiate eviction when required
  • 6Respond promptly to resident questions and service requests to drive satisfaction and retention
  • 7Conduct market research and competitive property surveys and support outreach marketing
  • 8Maintain active social media presence to boost visibility and engagement
  • 9Prepare lease move in and move out paperwork in a timely manner
  • 10Collaborate with team to ensure compliance with Fair Housing and company procedures

Requirements5

  • 1High school diploma or GED
  • 2At least one year of customer service or apartment leasing experience
  • 3Background in accounting and customer service preferred
  • 4Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • 5Ability to work onsite and flexible schedule including weekdays nights and weekends
