Assembler, Aerospace Electronics & Mechanical Systems
Overview
Assembler skilled with tools and precision will contribute to electromechanical assemblies for aerospace and aviation programs at scale. You will join a collaborative manufacturing team building power distribution load boxes, control panels, and precision mechanical components. This role blends mechanical assembly, electrical integration, and quality inspection in a fast paced environment focused on safety and continuous improvement. What You'll Do10
- 1Build chassis and structural frames for aerospace assemblies and install hardware including handles and switches
- 2Assemble optical modules cooling systems and mechanical components ensuring adherence to specifications
- 3Install and connect wiring harnesses power distribution boards and SSR modules
- 4Route dress and terminate cables per EMC guidelines and blueprints
- 5Read and interpret blueprints schematics BOMs and work instructions and perform inspections
- 6Document work and inspection results in the MRP system and participate in troubleshooting and corrective actions
- 7Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives including 6S and Kaizen and support safety and quality programs
- 8Support rework and defect reduction efforts and collaborate with team to meet production targets
- 9Participate in quality audits and maintain workmanship standards through documented evidence
- 10Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure on time delivery of assemblies
Requirements7
- 1High School Diploma or equivalent
- 22 4 years of hands on assembly experience in Aerospace Defense Industrial Manufacturing Automotive Manufacturing
- 3Experience assembling electromechanical systems and proficiency with crimping tools soldering equipment torque tools
- 4Ability to read blueprints schematics and BOMs and knowledge of continuous improvement practices such as 6S or Kaizen
- 5Strong attention to detail reliable attendance and work ethic and ability to work collaboratively
- 6Willingness to learn and continuously improve technical skills
- 7Preferred qualifications include WHMA A 620 training or certification J STD 001 certification an associate degree OSHA 10 and experience Kaizen events
