What You'll Do7

  • 1Assemble electronic components, wiring, and hardware into sub-assemblies and final products using hand tools and power tools.
  • 2Perform soldering, wiring, crimping, and mechanical assembly tasks per IPC/J-STD standards and engineering drawings.
  • 3Inspect units for accuracy and quality, identifying failures and making necessary repairs.
  • 4Document production and inspection records accurately to trace quality.
  • 5Follow ESD and FOD protocols to protect sensitive electronics.
  • 6Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve technical issues.
  • 7Support continuous improvement initiatives to boost quality and throughput.

Requirements7

  • 12+ years of electronics or electro-mechanical assembly experience, preferably in defense or aerospace.
  • 2High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in electronics assembly preferred.
  • 3Working knowledge of IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, or equivalent soldering standards (certification a plus).
  • 4Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and written instructions.
  • 5Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • 6Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance if required.
  • 7Lifting up to 25 lbs with minimal repetition.
