Area Worship Pastor – Mesa/Glendale Campus
Overview
The Area Worship Pastor leads worship culture at Central Christian Church supporting multiple campuses. This full-time exempt role reports to the Lead Worship Pastor and focuses on developing worship teams volunteers and music. The position requires independent leadership creative collaboration and deep spiritual alignment with the church's mission.
What You'll Do11
- 1Lead worship onstage 46 weekends annually including holidays
- 2Schedule and lead worship at Central campuses primarily Mesa/Glendale
- 3Own CYA and Celebrate Recovery worship experiences
- 4Develop volunteers and train vocal teams at Mesa/Glendale
- 5Prepare ProPresenter lyric files and playback arrangements
- 6Recruit and schedule vocalists assign song leads and keys
- 7Create lobby presence and support weekend hospitality
- 8Partner with student worship pastor and other ministries
- 9Assist with weekend event planning and holiday programming
- 10Maintain songwriting contributions for Central Music
- 11Be present in the lobby during service hours

- 1Ability to sing and speak from stage
- 2Experience in large church worship settings preferred
- 35+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 43-5 seasons leading worship teams
- 5Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative mindset
- 6Proven track record of developing talent and building effective teams
- 7Commitment to financial stewardship giving at least 10% of gross income
- 8Growth in personal relationship with Christ
- 9Ability to uphold Central's six staff values
- 10Physical stamina for standing walking and lifting up to fifty pounds
