As the Campus Life Ministry Site Leader, you own the growth and impact of youth ministry across an assigned region in Central Ohio, mobilizing adult leaders and building community partnerships to reach students with the Gospel. You lead a multidisciplinary team of volunteers and staff, fostering discipleship and leadership development among students and adults. What You'll Do9

  • 1Recruit and mobilize adult ministry leaders to meet ministry, financial, leadership, and prayer needs.
  • 2Build collaborative partnerships with churches, schools, and community organizations to expand ministry impact.
  • 3Lead the ministry site toward established growth objectives, including 50 students in outreach and 150 unique students engaged.
  • 4Facilitate weekly club meetings and small groups, delivering engaging and age-appropriate content.
  • 5Coach and develop ministry staff and volunteers, providing training opportunities for growth.
  • 6Oversee mentor/mentee relationships and disciple-making initiatives to foster spiritual growth.
  • 7Manage ministry data collection and reporting, ensuring accurate and timely submission.
  • 8Champion the Young Leader Program and encourage student leadership development.
  • 9Organize ministry trips and summer camps, coordinating logistics and volunteer teams.

Requirements10

  • 13-5 years of prior ministry experience, with youth ministry strongly preferred.
  • 2Ability to commit to the role for 2-3 years.
  • 3Demonstrated ability to build authentic relationships with young people and adults.
  • 4Proven ability to recruit, equip, coach, and develop volunteers and ministry leaders.
  • 5Strong communication, organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • 6Ability to work collaboratively with staff, volunteers, churches, schools, and community partners.
  • 7Ability to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining excellence in ministry and administration.
  • 8Willingness to participate in evening, weekend, summer camp, and retreat activities.
  • 9Commitment to the spiritual, relational, emotional, and practical well-being of young people.
  • 10Demonstrated commitment to the Christian faith and the mission of Youth for Christ.
