Architectural Designer, Data Center focus in DC
Overview
Revit based Architectural Designer will own the technical development of large scale data center projects from concept through construction administration. You will join a small, high-impact team that collaborates closely with MEP and engineering groups across global locations. Expect exposure to international projects and a role influenced by architecture and engineering. This position emphasizes hands-on design with field coordination and a fast-paced, entrepreneurial culture.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and refine technical details and construction documentation for Revit models on data center projects
- 2Collaborate with internal MEP and engineering teams to deliver coordinated design solutions across multiple time zones
- 3Support project delivery from concept design through construction administration and field coordination
- 4Prepare, update, and maintain construction documents in Revit with accuracy
- 5Assist in identifying and resolving design challenges related to complex building systems and infrastructure
- 6Participate in project coordination meetings to maintain alignment among stakeholders
- 7Contribute to project management tasks such as tracking progress and coordinating deliverables
- 8Travel to project sites globally to support coordination, design intent, and execution in the field
- 9Develop and refine technical documentation to meet project deadlines and standards
- 10Support continuous improvement of design processes within a small, collaborative team
Requirements10
- 12–5 years of professional experience in architecture preferably within an engineering or multidisciplinary firm
- 2Strong technical foundation in architectural design for complex building types or large commercial projects
- 3Proficiency in Revit and the ability to produce and manage detailed models and construction documents
- 4Experience with construction documentation and production for commercial or large-scale projects
- 5Experience coordinating with MEP and other engineering disciplines in a highly integrated project environment
- 6Background in commercial construction and familiarity with the construction process
- 7Ability to contribute to project management tasks including coordination and delivery support
- 8Comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with evolving project needs
- 9Proactive adaptable mindset with a strong desire to help shape and grow a developing architecture team
- 10Exposure to high-rise residential, mixed-use, or similarly complex project types
