Overview
Seeking a technically driven Applications Engineer to lead technical sales support for our Quick Response Center network. This role translates customer needs into engineered control valve and automation solutions while collaborating with sales teams and operations.
What You'll Do5
- 1Perform sizing selection and configuration of control valves actuators positioners and automation accessories
- 2Develop complete technical and commercial proposals from RFQs
- 3Serve as technical sales support for regional reps and key accounts
- 4Calculate pricing using product cost structures manufacturing requirements and market sourcing
- 5Conduct technical order acceptance engineering verification and order preparation
Requirements5
- 1Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Industrial Technology or related field
- 23+ years hands-on experience with control valves automated valves actuation systems or flow control equipment
- 3Prior experience as Applications Engineer Technical Inside Sales Representative or Sales Support Engineer in flow control manufacturing or distribution
- 4Proficiency with sizing selection software configurators ERP systems and technical specification reviews
- 5Willingness to travel up to 25 percent for site visits and sales support
