Overview
You will own engineered solution quotations for custom workholding, using CAD and engineering calculations to deliver technical proposals. - 1Build cost, price, and delivery estimates in the ERP system for custom tooling.
- 2Design concept drawings and CAD models to meet customer specs.
- 3Lead customer consultations to refine applications and recommend solutions.
- 4Develop detailed proposals and quotations for engineered workholding.
- 5Serve as technical expert on product capabilities and applications.
- 6Maintain organized CAD files and technical data for traceability.
- 7Drive continuous improvement through CAPA processes and risk assessments.
- 8Communicate technical and commercial updates to internal teams.
Requirements7
- 12+ years experience in applications engineering or mechanical design.
- 2Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- 31+ years using ERP systems for quoting or order management.
- 4Knowledge of workholding and mechanical solutions.
- 5Strong engineering calculation and analytical skills.
- 6Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- 7Excellent written and verbal communication.
