Amazon Connect Engineer, AWS & Python for CCaaS Solutions
Overview
Own the design, development, and support of enterprise CCaaS solutions at scale. Lead integration across Amazon Connect, Lex, Bedrock, and Lambda to deliver conversational IVR experiences. Collaborate with cross functional teams to deploy robust contact center applications and improve customer journeys. This role offers hands on coding, architecture decisions, and operational excellence in a collaborative Dallas team.
What You'll Do8
- 1Build and ship robust contact center solutions using Amazon Connect and AWS Lambda to handle inbound and outbound interactions
- 2Design conversational flows with Amazon Lex and manage integration with Bedrock for AI capabilities
- 3Own end to end implementation from requirement to deployment, including testing and monitoring of CCaaS solutions
- 4Lead integration efforts with IVR systems and analytics to improve contact center metrics
- 5Collaborate with product and security teams to ensure scalable, compliant deployments
- 6Debug and troubleshoot production issues, reducing mean time to recovery
- 7Drive continuous improvement through automation and infrastructure as code
- 8Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical documentation
Requirements5
- 15+ years building contact center or similar customer engagement applications
- 2Hands on experience with Amazon Connect, AWS Lambda, and Python
- 3Experience with Amazon Lex and AI/LLM integrations for conversational interfaces
- 4Familiarity with cloud architectures and CI/CD pipelines in AWS
- 5Strong problem solving and collaboration skills
