Overview
The Project Manager leads the planning and execution of the Senior Center and Affordable Housing Project in West Pasco. This consultant oversees all phases from site control to stakeholder engagement ensuring timely delivery within budget and regulatory compliance. The role involves coordinating with agencies developers and consultants to meet HUD and federal requirements.
What You'll Do11
- 1Lead daily management of senior housing and senior center development
- 2Serve as primary liaison with Pasco County Government HUD and development partners
- 3Maintain project timeline milestones and deliverables through rigorous tracking
- 4Conduct site control and predevelopment processes including zoning and entitlement
- 5Ensure compliance with HUD environmental requirements and avoid restrictive actions
- 6Coordinate funding sources such as HOME CDBG-DR and LIHTC financing
- 7Review and select developers based on RFP evaluation criteria
- 8Oversee design development budget refinement and construction planning
- 9Collaborate with architects engineers and consultants for integration
- 10Monitor construction progress and mitigate risks across regulatory frameworks
- 11Support operations transition by aligning senior housing and center programming with AAAPP mission
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration Urban Planning Aging Studies or related field
- 25+ years project management experience in housing development
- 3Proven experience with federally funded projects HUD programs like CDBG HOME NSP CPF
- 4Familiarity with Florida land use zoning and development processes
- 5PMP certification or equivalent professional credential
- 6Strong knowledge of affordable housing development and public infrastructure projects
- 7Experience with LIHTC development and HUD program administration
- 8Ability to pass DOEA Level II criminal background screening
- 9Physical capability to lift 20 pounds and travel within Pasco County
