AEC Proposal Manager
Overview
Strategically minded Manager leads Marketing & Pursuit Coordination team overseeing Senior Marketing & Pursuit Coordinators Marketing & Pursuit Coordinators and Proposal Content Manager. Provides oversight to high-volume fast-paced environment. Ensures quality competitive submissions while building systems processes and team capacity. Balances collaboration accountability partnering Business Development sector leadership internal marketing teams. Exempt salary position at Parkhill Dallas Texas.
What You'll Do12
- 1Lead and mentor Senior Marketing & Pursuit Coordinators Marketing & Pursuit Coordinators and Proposal Content Manager ensuring role clarity workload balance and professional development
- 2Oversee end-to-end development of RFPs RFQs and interview presentations including scheduling technical writing content gathering collaboration editing design and final production
- 3Establish and manage team capacity define workload thresholds and partner with Business Development sector leadership to align resources to highest-value pursuits
- 4Reinforce consistent QA/QC process ensuring clear ownership timelines and expectations for review and approval across all proposals
- 5Provide structure and accountability across proposal and marketing workflows adhering to timelines processes and standards
- 6Guide team coordination of marketing and pursuit requests routing work appropriately prioritizing within established workflows
- 7Partner with Creative Director to evolve Adobe InDesign proposal and PowerPoint interview templates tools and systems
- 8Collaborate with Proposal Content Manager to ensure project profiles and case studies are effectively utilized aligned to pursuit strategy and continuously improved
- 9Work with Business Development to develop win strategies themes and differentiators
- 10Coordinate subcontractors/subconsultants for all necessary materials
- 11Write and edit proposals directly during peak workloads or high-priority pursuits
- 12Guide team use of AI-assisted tools to improve proposal efficiency accuracy and consistency establishing best practices for adoption
Requirements10
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons experience in A/E/C industry writing proposals managing RFPs
- 35+ years leading or supervising proposal teams or cross-functional pursuit teams
- 4Advanced power-user level proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft PowerPoint
- 5Strong proficiency in Deltek Vantagepoint or similar CRM platforms
- 6Proven ability to operate effectively in high-volume environments bringing structure prioritization and clarity
- 7Experience improving or refining proposal processes workflows or QA/QC systems
- 8Ability to influence across Business Development sector leadership and technical teams
- 9Experience using AI-driven tools for content development or proposal efficiency
- 10Highly organized adaptable and able to balance multiple priorities with a calm solutions-oriented approach
